Obituary for Phillip M. "Mike" Mason

Phillip Michael "Mike" Mason joined his heavenly father on July 1st in Sweetwater, TN at the age of 48. Mike was a loving devoted husband, father, poppy, and friend of many. Mike enjoyed spending time with his family, Tennessee Football, coaching through the years, and some good music. Preceded in death by grandparents Martin and Ethel Mason, and Bud and Mary Bettis; and Father in law, Carl Dailey. Mike is survived by his loving wife and high school sweetheart Crystal Mason of Sweetwater, TN.; parents, Charles and Linda Mason, also of Sweetwater; three children, son and daughter in law Sam and Ashley Mason, son, Jordan Mason both of Sweetwater, daughter and boyfriend, Abby Mason and Michael Englehart both of Cookville; grandson, Blayne Mason of Sweetwater, who he loved to spoil; mother and father in law, Gale and Eddie Powell, of Sweetwater; Brother and Sister In law, Dwayne and Glenda Mason of Tellico Plains; Sister in Law and Brother in law, Lesa and Glen Shultz of Sweetwater; Brother in law and Sister in law, Rick and Lin Harris of South Carolina, and Sister in law, Hope Mceachern of Florida; Several Uncles, Aunts, Nieces, and Nephews. In-lieu of flowers family request donations be made to the Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 7:00 pm Tuesday, Loudon Funeral Home with Rev. Ted Halcomb officiating. Family and friends will meet 11:00 am Wednesday, at East Sweetwater Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery for graveside service. The family will receive friends 5:00 - 7:00 pm Tuesday, prior to the funeral service. Loudon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. www.loudonfuneralhome.net
