Linda Russell Tate, age 69 of Loudon, passed away Sunday, April 8, 2018. She was a lifelong resident of Loudon and a member of Corinth Baptist Church where she was a member of the Sisters of Christ Sunday School class. She retired from Maremont after thirty years. The love of her life was her grandchildren. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence “Crawley” and Ruby Russell; brother Leslie Russell and sisters, Anna Rhea Brackett and Patsy Steed. Survived by: loving husband of fifty years, Leroy Tate; children, Michelle (Rick) Castle and Richard “Richie” (Tiffany) Tate; grandchildren, Jessie, Koby, Kloe and Jaxson Castle and Matthew, Aiden and Kaitlin Tate; brother, Rev. Eugene “Jim” Russell and wife, Betty; along with several nieces, nephews and a host of special friends. The Funeral service will be held 7pm Tuesday at Loudon Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Arp and Rev. Lynn Goodwin officiating. Graveside service 11am Wednesday at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
