Obituary for Loriana "Scooter" Schaeffer

Loriana "Scooter"  Schaeffer
Loriana "Scooter" Schaeffer, age 50, of Vidalia, passed away Monday, April 16, 2018, at University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee after an extended illness. She was born in Iceland, but called many places home over the years. Living most of her life in Tennessee. She was a wife, mother, sister and worked in the health care field for many years. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Knoxville, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her parents, George D. Ricketson Jr. and Shirley Archibari Ricketson, and her brother George D. Ricketson III. Lori is survived by Thomas Woodward of Sevierville, Tennessee. Her three sons, Brent Scaeffer of Sevierville, Tennessee; Jordan McCallie of Johnson City, Tennessee; and Chris Schaeffer of Knoxville, Tennessee. Two Brothers, Donald Ricketson of Vidalia, Georgia; and Daniel Ricketson of Sweetwater, Tennessee. Two Sisters, Christina Ricketson of Vidalia, Georgia; and Jeanette Bivens of Sweetwater, Tennessee; several nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Loudon Funeral Home, Thursday 04/19/2018 from 5pm-7pm, with a service at 6 pm. After the visitation the family will be gathering at the home of Mr. Mark McCallie 6400 Steekee Creek Rd. in Loudon.

There will also be a visitation held at Stewart - Rosier Funeral Home, Vidalia, Georgia 04/21/2018 from 6pm-8pm. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at Stewart - Rosier Funeral Home, Vidalia, Georgia 04/22/2018 at 4:30pm.
