Obituary for Donald Ray "Doeray" Purdy

Donald Ray "Doeray" Purdy
Donald Ray Purdy, 57, of Loudon, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2017. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ray E. and Imogene (Gardner) Purdy; and his grandparents, Floyd and Hester Purdy and Wesley and Ada Gardner. He is survived by his sister, Karen Beasley; nephew, Adam Beasley; daughter, Beth and Charlie Brown; grandchildren, Brad and Anna Brown; aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends. Funeral service will be 7:00 pm Wednesday, Loudon Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Randy Humphreys officiating. Graveside service 2:00 pm Thursday, at Prospect Cemetery, with Rev. Randy Irons officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday, 5:00 - 7:00, prior to the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the funeral home to help with expenses. Loudon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
