Obituary for Thomas G. Moore

Thomas G.   Moore
Sgt. (retired) Thomas G. Moore, 81 of Loudon, passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2017. He was a deacon at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church and a Master Mason with CC Russell Masonic Lodge #222 F&AM. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard, Army National Guard and the United States Army. He was a retired employee of X-10 plant, ORNL. Preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters. Survivors include his wife, Doris K. Moore; daughter, Judy (Brandon) Bomar; and son, Thomas Moore; two grand children; special nieces and nephews, Brenda Vyphuis, Renee K. Thomas, Patricia Swafford, Jim Moore and Ed Moore; special cousins, Polly Smith, David Smith and Clifford (Cowboy) Smith; and a host of other relatives, extended family and friends. Masonic service conducted by the CC Russell lodge #222 F& AM at 1:45pm Saturday, at Loudon Funeral Home with Funeral service following at 2pm; Elder Bobby Fields officiating. Interment following at Loudon Memorial Gardens with Military Honors provided by the Loudon County Veterans Honor Guard. The family will receive friends 12pm - 1:45 pm Saturday, at the funeral home. The family would like to say special Thanks to the Parkwest Hospital staff, for their attention and care of our loved one. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mt.
